Four-hand means one client and two therapists working together, charged on the single-client, two-therapist row at double the one-therapist hour.
Four-hand is the name for any technique performed by two therapists on one client at the same time. It is not a separate technique so much as a way of booking one: four-hand nuru, four-hand tantra and four-hand body-to-body are all requested in the same way, by naming the technique and asking for two therapists. The phrase counts hands, not people, which is why it sometimes confuses buyers who read it as a couples booking.
The two formats can involve the same number of therapists, but they sit on different rows of the rates table because they serve different clients. Four-hand is one client with two therapists. A couples booking is two clients, usually partners, each with a therapist of their own, in the same room. That couple pays four times the one-therapist hour with two therapists, or double it if the two of them share one. The couples massage page describes that arrangement; this entry concerns the single-client version.
One client with two therapists is charged twice the single rate per hour. A four-hand session of two hours therefore comes to four single hours, and one of three hours to six. Every two-therapist booking carries a deposit of half the fee regardless of timing or client history, so two hours and three hours alike are confirmed with half, and the rest is settled on arrival. A four-hand overnight is available too, at a fixed fee for the eight hours, confirmed in the same way.
The deposit rule for this format has a plain reason. Two women each give up an evening rather than one, they often set out from different parts of the city, and both have to say yes to the same hour before the booking can stand. All of that is settled before the session, which is why a four-hand booking is always confirmed in advance.
Clients name two therapists from the roster. Some women on it work together often and prefer to; others are glad to work beside anyone, and each of the two decides for herself whether to take the booking. Naming two specific women narrows the times available, so a client flexible about one name will usually find an earlier hour. The four-hand service page gives more detail, and the full rates table, couples rows included, is printed on each therapist's profile.
