Banks

· On the roster ·

Banks is a massage therapist working outcall from the Jordaan, known for an unhurried tantra practice and a famously steady hand.

Banks carries a particular quiet into every booking. She lives in the Jordaan, the warren of narrow streets and slow canals on the western edge of central Amsterdam, and most of her clients meet her at hotels nearby or in their own apartments along the ring. She is the kind of therapist who reads a room before she touches it. The pace of a session is set by the breath in front of her, not by the clock. Her two strengths are tantra and Nuru. The tantra work is slow and deliberate, built around stillness as much as movement, and the Nuru is its warmer counterpoint, all gliding contact and held weight. She also works confidently in body-to-body when a guest wants something more immediate. None of it feels rehearsed; Banks treats each booking as its own evening. Her English is easy and fluent, and international guests who would rather not over-explain themselves find her simple to talk to. She is comfortable with longer ninety- and two-hour appointments, where the early part of the session can simply be conversation, and she takes overnight bookings as well. What people tend to remember is how difficult she is to rush.

Banks decides which bookings she takes and may decline any of them; she sets the limits for what a session includes, says what they are, and may end a visit at any point, as the terms set out.
